I wanted to write a poem about snow
But the words would float in my head like so
And when they would settle, only melted away
And now I'm left with nothing to say
Words to a poem I've not written but sought
Falling in some semblance of intelligible thought
Thought without words, words without thought
Those are the two ways of writing a poem,
--whether you use words or not
And as a snowflake falls as a whisper
To melt upon touching the ground
My words have dissembled, and I find that there
Is no worthy thought to be found
